The Mission of Indigico:

To collaborate with businesses and partner with communities to creatively communicate the stories that bring us together.

Indigico works with clients Australia-wide, including state and local government, educational institutions, non-profit organisations, SME’s and large corporations. Each one has a unique story, purpose and mission. No two are the same. That is why we don’t do cookie cutter communications; we do personal, tailored and innovative solutions.

Working with us is a collaborative experience built on trust and honesty, where we seek to truly understand the heart of every client’s story through relational, one on one consultation from start to finish.

Every individual, every business, every community has a story. Our stories connect our hearts and our minds through shared emotions, experiences, perspectives and goals. It is when we connect that we feel understood, valued and like we are not alone.

Why are we so passionate about telling stories? Because stories can change the world.

Our vision is that every story is given value and a voice, to revitalise communities, reconnect to culture and restore identities to build a stronger future.

The Heart of Indigico

The heart of Indigico is deeply seeded in a yearning to restore a cultural identity and recover lost stories. I descend from the Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung nations in the Clarence Valley region of NSW, but was born and raised on Gamilaroi country in Tamworth NSW. Over five generations ago, culture, tradition, language and dreaming were displaced, with immense emotional and psychological repercussions that have affected the generations since. My family has been on a long journey to heal the pain of over 100 years of cultural separation, reclaim our own identities and acknowledge our rich history.

It is my grandfather’s story, my mother’s story, my story, that drives our vision, because when stories are lost, we lose a whole lot more than a story. Indigico strives to be part of the solution to recovering the stories of the past, to inform our present, and build a stronger future.
