‘First Voices, Shared Futures’
‘First Voices, Shared Futures’ was commissioned by the NSW Electoral Commission for their Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.
STORY:
The future belongs to all of us; a future where the needs and voices of every person are at the centre; equally valued and respected.
Creating this shared future requires making it easy for everyone to come to the yarning circle in unity and authenticity, to collaborate in meaningful partnerships founded on deep listening, trust and integrity.
As we sit and yarn at the circle, sharing stories, ideas and knowledge, we learn from each other so that we can expand our capacity for creating the future that we want to see for ourselves and the generations to come.
From the First voices to the new voices, everyone is invited to, and belongs at the circle, because creating the shared future for a better tomorrow requires bringing every voice and every person to the centre.
