‘Many Stories, One Home’ was commissioned by the Settlement Council of Australia.

STORY:
We share a dream; a dream to not only find a home, but to find a place where we belong, thrive and live fulfilling lives. Through partnership, advocacy and collaboration, people are supported to be able to achieve this dream.

From across the waters, people carry their own history, connections and culture along their journey and arrive on new lands to be welcomed into 65,000+ years of history, connections and culture. Through meaningful relationships built on respect, integrity and unity, a collision of histories, connections and cultures creates a new way of belonging, thriving and living.

This new way honours the homes that people have come from and builds a new home on foundations that acknowledge the sovereignty of the First Peoples. True belonging can then flourish as knowledge, understanding, empathy and love make way for establishing a new shared home that was once just a shared dream.
